His hero, as shown in "Ratty-Man" is Purple Preston, a superhero who wears nothing other than the color purple. He's always in a good mood, and never refuses to miss out on any sort of fun event, whether it's inside the Happy Home or if it's not.

In a house located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the series centers around the misadventures of two anthropomorphic animals, Ratty the mouse and Catty the cat, and their crazy misadventures they have with their human family and Ratty's mouse children. Ratty Catty was also the first show Spectra Animation had produced to share a studio with the Mercury Filmworks animation studio in Ottawa, Ontario, and the first show by Spectra Animation to air in the 1990's. The series also moved to the Qubo Channel in the United States from Mato July 26, 2020. Both channels are still airing reruns of the series.
